TeamSurv is a project where mariners help create better charts of coastal waters, by logging depth and position data whilst they are at sea, and uploading the data to the web for processing and display.
Teamsurv is a R&D project with trial areas in England, France and Lithuania. Amber Route is one of 3 companies in the teamSurv consortium.
TeamSurv is a EU sponsored project, which is investigating the use of crowd sourcing depth-data to enhance marine charts, thanks to the advantage of EGNOS positionning. Once registered, participants receive a smartLog software or hardware datalogger. Data is logged on to a USB key while you are sailing on your regular trips.
